How To Build A Successful Mall

Although you can build a mall with about 30 million NP, I suggest you keep a couple million in reserve before you start building your mall. Without some extra money or weapons, you can get easily discouraged into quitting, especially when you see that your 30 million NP doesn't seem to be paying off right away. After you gain enough money, you should find a mall to join. Here are some tips to keep in mind:

1. The more shops that are at the top of a hut in main market, the more traffic you'll get, and the more profit you'll get. 2. Graphics are VERY important, they have to be clear, not-flamboyant, oversized, or too small or have poor visibility.
3. Your mall leader should be active and check to make sure all the mall members have been stocking their shops to at LEAST 3 pages for the main sections, except for training.
4. Mall members should limit their stock to only their category
5. Noticeboards are not required for a successful mall, but sometimes they're useful, especially if you can place one at the top for the weekend. (you'll have to keep careful track of all the noticeboards and when they come up)
6. All noticeboards are up for 7 days, but they swap out at 12 AM Neopian Time.
7. Try not to be in a mall with excessive members unless you're in one of the main categories
8. Join a mall with size variety. They shouldn't all be the same size, that causes too much hut competition.
9. Have people check for other shops frequently, if they're in the middle of a hut and can push another member to the top by switching marketplaces, they should do it and keep careful watch. This can save some upgrading costs.
10. Join a malling guild such as the Mallers of Neopia
11. Join a mall with experienced mallers, I don't have a list right now, but stick around and you're sure to see who's been around for a while. Usually the bigger shops have people with more experience.

12. If you have a lot of hits but not many sales, try lowering your prices.
