Get Rich Quick

Ever wonder how people get rich so fast? Well, besides the illegal ways of course. If you're looking for those, I suggest you don't, since you get caught fast and frozen faster. Regardless, here are some methods of becoming super rich FAST if you have the right luck and skills.

Restocking

There are a couple items that can get you rich super fast if you manage to snag them from the shops.

Thyoras Tear will net you a cool 53 mill and stocks in Defense Magic.

Leaded Elemental Vial will net you a good 30~40m and stocks in Brightvale Potions.

Glowing Cauldron will net you something around 13m or more and stocks in Spooky Weaponry

Heavy Blue Tunic will net you about 12m and resocks in Brightvale Armoury

Pea Chia Pop will net you about 10m and stocks in Snow Foods

Bag of Healing Dust is about 8m and can be found in Magical Marvels

Freezing Potion will net you about 7.3m and stocks in Icy Weapons.

Crisp Blue Tunic will net you about 5~8m and resocks in Brightvale Armoury

Most other items don't stock often enough for you to consider, nor are their origins exactly definite. Two such weapons are the Glittery Scorchstone, which stocks in either Battle Magic OR Defense Magic, and the Mastermind Plushie, which stocks in either Toy OR Plushie. They're both r.100, and haven't stocked since who knows when, so don't count on ever seeing one, much less restocking one. They go for hundreds of millions of NP each, mostly because they never stock.

Thanks to glubgar for reminding me to put up CBT and HBT!

Gambling

While there are lots of different types of gambling, there's only one "pure" gambling that can get you super-rich, although at a low chance. Scratching Pustravaganza or Rotting Riches Scratchcards allow you to have the chance to gain a Nimmo Finger or a Moehog Skull. The Finger goes for about 40m, and the Skull goes for about 300m, however, the cards used to get them are both pretty expensive. Some say that only the Rotting Riches gets you the skull, but nobody knows the truth. Rotting Riches cost about 5x as much as the pustravaganzas (or higher) though, since you can only win the jackpot from the rotting riches.

Illusens or Jhudoras Quest

Although getting past level 34 on Illusens or level 27 on Jhudoras Quest is considered to be a daunting task, if you can make it up to level 50 on either one, the rewards are tremendous. For Illusens, you get the 550 mill Illusens Staff, and for Jhudora you get the 700 mill Wand of the Dark Faerie. For the most part, Illusen is only worth it if you stop at 35, or make it to 50. Jhudoras has some pretty good prizes for the last 15 levels or so, providing you can get through the low rarities to the r.99 only items. Beware though, many a good player has believed themselves able to get to level 50, but failed.

Auction/Shop Wiz Sniping

Sometimes a newbie comes across an amazing item. That's when you pounce on the opportunity and snipe it from their shop for 20k or try and auction snipe it. Examples of items include Skarls Sword (300m), Sleep Ray (14m), Kings Lens (50m), and Moehog Skull (300m).

Coltzan's Shrine

Even though the chances are EXTREMELY low, if you visit Coltzan's Shrine often enough, he might grant you with a Kings Lens or a Coltzan's Sceptre, both of which are extremely expensive, with the Lens at about 50m and the sceptre at about 20~40m(?)

Smugglers Cove

Although it almost never stocks, if a new item comes out YOU MUST go to the cove and try to buy it, especially if it's a good battledome weapon. I suggest bringing about 500 dubloons, that should be enough to cover anything. I regret not selling my honey potion to buy dubloons to try and buy a super attack pea from the cove. Some items are practically instantaneous richness for the rest of your neopets career.

Conclusion

As you can see, other than slow accumulation of wealth over the years, there aren't that many ways to get super rich terribly fast. Luckily, most of the shops that these items restock in can also be profitable. One way to multi-task is to restock r.99s in Defense Magic, use some extra cash to buy scratchcards, snipe on the side, and save your unique r.99s. Happy Neo-ing.
